The township of Cardwell is the oldest town north of Bowen and has all the needed facilities.
You will find a Bendigo Bank with 24hr ATM, Post Office, and News agency as well as hardware and bakery right in the Heart of town.
Groceries can be purchased further up in town or the store will deliver right to you.
The Marine Hotel has a well stocked bottle shop.
Cardwell also has a Country Club with a nine hole golf course and lawn bowls.
There are various restaurants and food outlets in the township. However we also suggest you try the restaurant within the Marina.
Cardwell is walking distance or you can use the local taxi.
